BillCalculator.com.pk is an independent, free website that helps electricity consumers in Pakistan estimate a monthly bill before it arrives, and understand the charges printed on it. It is not operated by, affiliated with or endorsed by NEPRA, WAPDA, any distribution company (DISCO) or any government body.
Pakistani domestic electricity bills are built from slab rates, a fixed charge, sales tax and several monthly adjustments. Most consumers only see the final figure, and by then it is too late to change behaviour. Our calculators let you put in your units and see roughly what that consumption costs – before the bill is issued – and our guides explain each line item in plain language.
Every domestic electricity calculator on this site uses the same method: your monthly units are split across the NEPRA-notified domestic slabs, each portion is charged at its own rate, a fixed monthly charge is added for your consumption band, and 18% General Sales Tax is applied on top.
The slab rates, fixed charges and tax rate are kept in a single data file (assets/tariffs.js) rather than being repeated on each page, so a tariff revision is applied everywhere at once and the pages cannot drift apart.
The calculators deliberately exclude Fuel Cost Adjustment, quarterly tariff adjustments, meter rent, TV fee, arrears, late-payment surcharge and Time-of-Use billing. Those change month to month or depend on your individual account, and are printed on your own bill.
Rates are taken from the domestic tariff published by NEPRA at nepra.org.pk and from the tariff pages of the distribution companies. Each calculator page shows when the tariff data was last reviewed. We do not publish rates we cannot point to a source for, and we do not claim to hold official or real-time data feeds from any utility.
If you spot a rate that no longer matches your bill, please tell us – corrections from readers are the fastest way this site stays accurate.
Every figure produced on this site is an estimate for planning and understanding, not a demand for payment and not an official bill. Always verify what you owe against your official bill or your distribution company.
The site is run online from Lahore, Pakistan. You can reach us at support@billcalculator.com.pk or through the contact page.
